According to CCTV News, on March 1st, the agreement between China and Thailand to waive visas for ordinary passport holders officially came into effect.
The agreement was signed on January 28th in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
According to the agreement, Chinese nationals holding official ordinary passports, ordinary passport holders, and Thai nationals holding ordinary passports are allowed to enter the other country without visa, with a single stay of no more than 30 days and a cumulative stay of no more than 90 days every 180 days.
